Croatian-born designer Damir Doma graduated in 2004 and worked for Raf Simons, a time that broadened and shaped his perception of fashion and the arts. Under Simon’s mentorship, the creation of his personal aesthetics was kindled, leading him to infuse soulfulness and sensitivity into his work. In 2006 Damir launched his own eponymous label, making a promising Paris Fashion Week debut a year later. A thoughtful and complex sensibility is veered through layered sheer fabrics and draped silhouettes.
